Background
Steppe Capital is an investment holding company and international family office based in Singapore. It was established to consolidate the various investments and holdings of our shareholder and aims to achieve our shareholder’s desire to establish and maintain a transparent investment structure which adheres to the highest international standards of corporate governance.
By pooling together a diverse range of businesses into a consolidated group, we hope to enable our portfolio companies to benefit from an integrated business model which combines the wealth of experience and opportunities that arise as a consequence of being part of a global investment group.
Steppe Capital is independently managed by Glenville Asset Management, a private trust company registered and regulated in Singapore.
Investment Approach
Under the management and support of Glenville Asset Management, we are seeking to create and sustain long term value for our shareholder by investing in and managing a diversified portfolio of private equity investments.
We seek to achieve this objective by:
- actively managing our portfolio companies by engaging with and supporting the relevant management teams in order to allow them to grow and sustain their respective business through operational improvement and value creation;
- forging and fostering relationships with our joint venture partners in order to benefit from our partners' capabilities and expertise;
- drawing upon our investment team’s expertise to carefully identify attractive investment and co-investment opportunities as well as to identify profitable exit strategies which achieve the best long term outcome for our shareholder throughout a range of economic cycles; and
- prudently managing risk in order to ensure the preservation of capital.
